![]() ![]() I don’t think it has done a lot for my dark spots or acne scars yet, although I’ve read if you use it in combination with the Vita-C serum, the difference is significantly more effective. ![]() My skin was noticeably brighter and felt smooth. When I used it for the first time, I actually noticed a difference the very next morning. The cream has a nice texture as well, not too heavy but at the same time really moisturising. These are probably my favourite thing about this cream, I love the concept of a fresh burst of vitamin C and it smells lovely too. The vitamin C is encased in these tiny ‘vita capsules’, these little orange beads which burst upon contact with your skin, releasing a citrusy scent. I didn’t know why this vitamin C cream was different for me until I found out the difference between vitamin C derivatives and ascorbic acid when doing my research for this blog! I’ve been using this cream twice a day for coming up to a month now and my skin has tolerated it incredibly well, in fact I’ve not experienced any irritation. I’ve stayed away from it since then, however I was interested to give this cream a go as I’d read about it being gentle enough to use twice daily even on sensitive skin. I love the idea of revitalising my skin with vitamin C (I mean, how could it not be good for you right?) but the one vitamin C product I tried years ago wasn’t tolerated well by my skin and broke me out. Compared to their previous method of fresh brewing, energy consumption is reduced by 21% and CO2 emission by 20%. In this process extraction is done through air bubbles and brewed at a low temperature of 25☌ for 120 hours. Goodal also has a strong sustainability focus, with this reflected in their packaging but also their innovative technology, featuring a new extraction method called air bubble brewing. Vitamin C derivatives on the other hand, are more stable, easily absorbed and better suited to those with sensitive skin. I did a little research and it turns out ascorbic acid is not tolerated on all skin types due to its low pH. The cream uses vitamin C derivatives rather than active/pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid). It also has double the amount of niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3 which boosts collagen, brightens and improves skin texture. This cream is an upgraded version of the previous vita-C cream, and is made of 67% Jeju green tangerine extract, up from 62% in the previous version. ![]() If you’re looking for a product with a powerful dose of vitamin C that is also gentle enough for those with even sensitive skin to use morning and night, this Goodal cream might be for you!Īt the last step of your skincare routine, gently apply an appropriate amount to the face and neck. ![]()
